Responsibilities
- Work with Account Executives to support DACH customers and prospects.
- Conduct infrastructural and architectural discovery, collaborative solution design, and technical validation.
- Help prospects evaluate Contentful against their project requirements and identify or mitigate technical and business risks.
- Create product demonstrations and support technical evaluations and integrations with prospect technology stacks.
- Communicate prospect and customer needs and product feedback to product management, marketing, and sales.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects and Customer Success Managers to support successful customer implementation and launch.
Requirements
- Fluency in English and German is required.
- Three to five years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Solution Engineer, Solution Architect, or Solution Consultant at a cloud-based PaaS or SaaS company, or five to ten years as a developer working on digital experience delivery with marketing technology platforms.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate business and technical concepts to marketing-focused and technical audiences.
- Experience with current web technologies, including JavaScript frameworks, static site generators, REST APIs, CDNs, and CI/CD.
- High emotional intelligence, curiosity about technology-driven business change, and the ability to work across multiple opportunities and teams.
- Experience with a content management platform or similar MarTech technology is preferred.
- Prior solution-selling or value-based-selling experience is preferred.
- Understanding of MACH products and composable architectures is preferred.
