Responsibilities
- Build, deploy, and tune tools for detecting vulnerabilities in Isovalent software.
- Standardize security processes across product development teams.
- Triage findings from LLMs, SAST/DAST scanners, cloud security scanners, external security reports, and penetration tests.
- Evaluate vulnerability risk, prioritize remediation, and communicate the impact of security issues.
- Continuously improve security processes with a strong focus on metrics.
- Lead security projects from design through delivery.
- Partner with development, release, and Cisco security teams to address vulnerabilities promptly and document security posture.
- Advocate for security best practices across the organization.
Requirements
- Technical background in information security or a related field with significant knowledge of Linux security concepts.
- Significant experience automating security processes using Go, Python, Bash, or Terraform to identify, validate, and organize vulnerabilities.
- Demonstrable experience leading security projects from design to delivery.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Preferred: background in network security.
- Preferred: experience integrating LLMs into security scanning pipelines.
- Preferred: experience configuring fuzzers and/or DAST scanning tools.
- Preferred: familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
