Base Salary
$175k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain core Mithrl product features across frontend and backend.
- Own end-to-end feature development from product requirements to production deployment.
- Build intuitive user interfaces that simplify complex scientific workflows.
- Develop scalable backend services, APIs, and data pipelines for the Mithrl platform.
- Collaborate with product, design, ML, and scientific teams to translate user needs into technical solutions.
- Make architectural decisions balancing speed, scalability, reliability, and developer velocity.
- Improve system performance, reliability, and observability as data volumes grow.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to raising the overall engineering bar.
- Participate in technical planning, code reviews, and ongoing platform evolution.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong full-stack engineering experience with Python and React in production environments.
- Proficiency in Django for building backend APIs and services.
- Experience designing and working with GraphQL APIs.
- Experience with scalable systems, databases, and data-intensive applications.
- Strong understanding of system design and software architecture.
- Experience shipping and owning production systems used by real customers.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a product-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
