Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and own core Kannon platform functionality in C++ and Python.
- Build and maintain shared valuation, risk, P&L, marking, calibration, and controls infrastructure across asset classes.
- Identify performance bottlenecks, design solutions for complex problems, and refactor existing functionality.
- Strengthen C++/Python interfaces, tooling, and developer-facing libraries used by Strategic Analytics teams.
- Collaborate with Strats, trading, quantitative, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver reliable, performant solutions.
- Own relationships with teams across the organization and contribute technically to cross-functional projects.
Requirements
- Development experience in an object-oriented language, with a strong interest in C++ and Python.
- Ability to own complex processes and support multiple stakeholder groups.
- Experience investigating and resolving complex issues independently in a diverse engineering environment.
- Comfort working in Linux and Windows environments with modern build tooling and CI/CD practices.
- Experience or interest in low-latency development, performance, and optimization.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex requirements clearly.
