Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and own core Kannon platform functionality in C++ and Python across multiple trading desks.
- Build and maintain shared cross-asset valuation, risk, P&L, marking, calibration, and controls infrastructure.
- Identify performance bottlenecks, design solutions for complex problems, and refactor existing implementations.
- Strengthen the C++/Python interface, tooling, and developer-facing libraries used by Strats teams.
- Work with Strats, trading, quantitative, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver robust, reliable, performant solutions.
- Own relationships with partner teams and contribute technically to projects across the organization.
Requirements
- Development experience in an object-oriented language with a keen interest in C++ and Python.
- Ability to own complex processes and support multiple stakeholder types at varying levels.
- Experience in a diverse engineering environment, including investigating and resolving complex issues independently.
- Comfort working in Linux and Windows environments with modern CI/CD and build tooling.
- Focus on low latency, performance, and optimization.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex requirements clearly.
