Responsibilities
- Build end-to-end features across web applications and backend services.
- Create internal products for managing Premium offers through guided workflows.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services for subscriptions.
- Develop GraphQL and gRPC APIs for frontend and distributed platform services.
- Design efficient database schemas and optimize application performance.
- Build secure systems that support financial operations and compliance workflows.
- Collaborate with engineers to improve platform reliability and developer experience.
- Write maintainable, well-tested code and participate in technical discussions.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for service reliability.
Requirements
- Experience building production software across frontend and backend technologies.
- Experience with scalable backend services using modern Java, preferably Java 17+.
- Proficiency in building web applications using TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
- Experience designing or consuming GraphQL APIs.
- Familiarity with gRPC services and Protocol Buffers.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
- Commitment to writing reliable, maintainable, and well-tested software.
- Ability to collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers.
- Passion for simplifying complex workflows for internal users.
- Experience with tools like jOOQ, Flyway, Apollo GraphQL, and others is beneficial.
