Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end technical implementation of the platform for each customer from initial handoff through live deployment.
- Configure and fine-tune AI models for customer-specific use cases, including prompt engineering and model behavior adjustments.
- Structure customer data and build integrations with SAP, REST/GraphQL APIs, webhooks, and other enterprise systems.
- Develop customer-facing prototypes and evolve successful solutions into scalable implementations.
- Translate operational pain points into engineering decisions while working with technical teams and senior business stakeholders.
- Identify product gaps and recurring customer patterns and communicate them to the core engineering team.
Requirements
- C2 or native-level German fluency is required.
- Directly relevant Forward Deployed Engineering experience is required.
- Strong full-stack engineering ability across Python, React, TypeScript, SQL, and data pipelines.
- Experience integrating ERP platforms, REST/GraphQL APIs, webhooks, or B2B SaaS systems.
- Practical experience with LLMs, AI agents, and prompt engineering, including adapting model behavior to specific business domains.
- Ability to work with messy, inconsistent real-world data and establish reliable structures quickly.
- Customer-facing technical experience with end users and senior stakeholders.
- High agency, ownership, problem-solving ability, and comfort with ambiguity, legacy systems, and high-intensity environments.
Benefits
- Salary range is €80,000 to €130,000 annually.
- The role is fully on-site in Munich, Bavaria, Germany, with full in-person presence required.
