Responsibilities

  • Create complex technical solutions spanning multiple domains.
  • Lead architectural decisions with significant organizational impact.
  • Resolve complex technical challenges requiring specialist expertise.
  • Drive technical debt remediation strategies.
  • Create automated delivery pipelines across platforms.
  • Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems for enterprise applications.
  • Ensure your architecture vision is realized by our delivery teams across all phases of program delivery.
  • Make and justify key architectural decisions considering all relevant constraints.
  • Follow the principles and guidance set out by the Solution Architecture team.

Requirements

  • Expert understanding of Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
  • Strong knowledge of application, integration, data, and infrastructure architecture.
  • Advanced understanding of cloud platforms and serverless architectures.
  • Proficiency in distributed systems design and microservices patterns.
  • Experience with multiple technology stacks and integration patterns.
  • Strong understanding of NFRs and performance optimization.
  • Expertise in CI/CD implementation and environment strategies.
  • Ability to manage technical debt and quality assurance.
  • Strong grasp of enterprise integration patterns and distributed transactions.
  • Expertise in technical risk management and mitigation strategies.
  • Proven experience of designing and delivering an eCommerce solution with Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
  • Deep understanding of engineering practices and technical excellence.
  • Client and delivery focused, able to adapt solutions to meet additional requirements.
  • Prior experience running design workshops.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
