Lead Software Engineer

Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of software developers.
- Architect, build, and maintain resilient full-stack solutions and backend microservices for real-time fraud detection.
- Develop cloud-based systems that detect and mitigate malicious activity and support regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver customer-facing financial technology solutions.
- Mentor engineers and participate in internal and external technology communities.
- Experiment with emerging technologies and interactive AI tooling to accelerate productivity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience required; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 1 year of cloud computing experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud required.
- Preferred: Master’s degree.
- Preferred: 7+ years of experience with JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go.
- Preferred: 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service.
- Preferred: 4+ years of experience with open source frameworks.
- Preferred: 1+ year of people management experience.
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience with Agile practices.
- Preferred: experience using interactive AI tooling beyond basic code completion.
