Responsibilities

  • Deliver standard Red Hat OpenShift and cloud-native solution implementations while managing customer expectations.
  • Lead delivery projects as the technical solution lead, defining goals and execution tasks with Project Managers and delivery teams.
  • Explain project architecture, container strategies, and enterprise Kubernetes designs to customers and associates.
  • Lead Discovery Sessions and help enterprise clients plan container adoption and cloud-native journeys.
  • Partner with account teams to develop delivery approaches for business opportunities and support pre-sales activities.
  • Communicate project status and technical architecture to management and cross-functional teams.
  • Mentor peers and junior associates up to the Architect role level.
  • Conduct technical screening assessments and participate in internal Promotion Panels.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform and expert-level knowledge of Kubernetes, container security, and cloud-native architecture.
  • Deep knowledge of OpenShift operators, GitOps, Pipelines, Service Mesh, Observability, and OpenShift Platform Plus management, security, storage, and registry tools.
  • Working knowledge of related Red Hat products such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Ansible Automation, Red Hat OpenShift Service Mesh, or Advanced Cluster Management.
  • Experience addressing sophisticated security requirements and using software-defined storage such as OpenShift Data Foundation or Red Hat Ceph Storage.
  • Experience with scripting and automation using Ansible, Python, Perl, or Shell scripts.
  • Client-facing consulting or technical architecture experience designing and delivering enterprise container solutions.
  • Experience leading Discovery Sessions and collaborating with pre-sales and sales teams on delivery approaches.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder-management, delivery planning, goal-setting, and technical mentorship skills.
  • Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration/Application Development or higher is preferred, or willingness to obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Full legal authorization to work in Auckland, New Zealand.
