Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for trialing, new, and existing customers adopting and scaling EngFlow’s platform.
- Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve complex issues involving build systems, integrations, and environments.
- Help customers optimize EngFlow products and integrate them into developer workflows.
- Partner with Engineering to surface and track product bugs, performance regressions, and field feedback.
- Create and maintain internal and external technical documentation.
- Engage with the broader community through forums, Slack, GitHub, and conferences.
- Improve operational excellence through metrics, tooling improvements, and automation.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in software development, technical support, SRE, or developer-facing roles.
- Strong understanding of developer workflows and build systems; Bazel or Buck/Buck2 experience is a significant plus.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Go, C++, Java, Python, Rust, or JavaScript.
- Comfort working in Linux/Unix environments and experience with tools such as Docker, Terraform, or Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with at least one cloud provider, such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or OpenShift.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly in writing and on calls.
- Experience writing or contributing to technical documentation or internal knowledge bases.
- Customer-centric approach and enthusiasm for helping engineers solve difficult problems.
- Experience with asynchronous communication and distributed teams is a bonus.
