Responsibilities
- Design and deliver highly performant, reliable, and intuitive production AI agents
- Own the Agent Development Life Cycle from initial pilot through deployment and continuous iteration
- Build, tune, and evolve AI agents in production environments
- Partner directly with enterprise leaders and startups to address business challenges with AI agents
- Prototype tools and features and collaborate with research, product, and platform teams
- Create generalizable agent frameworks for industry-specific use cases
- Experiment with voice models and integrate them at enterprise scale
- Use customer insights to guide the evolution of Sierra’s core platform
Requirements
- Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems
- Strong technical problem-solving skills in fast-changing and ambiguous environments
- A builder and tinkerer mindset with high agency and the ability to ship creative solutions
- Comfort working directly with customers to understand needs and solve real-world problems
- Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
- Preferred: experience building or deploying AI/LLM systems in production
- Preferred: founder or founding engineer experience
- Preferred: familiarity with evaluation frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering
- Preferred: prior experience with React, TypeScript, and/or Go
- Preferred: experience interfacing with customers or leading technical projects with external stakeholders
- Preferred: proficiency in Cantonese
