Base Salary
$110k - $164k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain production-grade generative AI and agentic AI systems, including LLM-based applications.
- Productionize AI/ML models and systems through deployment, versioning, release management, monitoring, alerting, and reliability practices.
- Build and maintain Databricks data pipelines supporting generative AI, agentic AI, and machine learning workloads.
- Scope ambiguous business problems into concrete technical plans and communicate technical designs, trade-offs, and system behavior.
- Lead data-driven projects from concept to execution and present findings to technical stakeholders, non-technical stakeholders, and senior leadership.
- Integrate AI/ML systems with enterprise data sources and business applications through RESTful APIs.
- Provide thought leadership on AI and engineering methodologies and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience, or 3 years with a graduate degree.
- Hands-on experience building generative AI and agentic AI solutions in Python, including RAG, agent frameworks, and LLM orchestration.
- Experience with cloud computing and big data platforms, preferably Azure and Databricks, for deploying and operating production AI/ML systems.
- Strong proficiency writing clean, production-ready Python code.
- Experience with Git/GitHub version control and leading data-driven projects.
- Experience evaluating, productionizing, and monitoring AI/ML models with Databricks or an equivalent platform, including jobs/workflows, MLflow, data pipelines, and Delta Lake tables.
- Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs and understanding systems architecture.
- Understanding of machine learning algorithms and core statistical concepts such as hypothesis testing.
- Experience with Claude Code or similar AI coding-agent tools is preferred.
- Kubernetes or container experience is preferred.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
