Responsibilities
- Drive and implement UI features and systems through design, scheduling, implementation, and polish.
- Provide constructive input on new features and iteration of existing features.
- Collaborate with artists and designers to create polished user experiences.
- Apply development best practices, proactive problem solving, and strong communication.
- Conduct code reviews and help maintain high engineering standards.
- Ensure UI features meet performance, memory, and scalability requirements.
Requirements
- Advanced understanding of C++.
- Solid understanding of relevant computer graphics and game technology principles.
- Experience architecting and maintaining UI systems for complex video games using Model-View-ViewModel architecture.
- Experience with Unreal Engine 5 and UMG.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience working on and shipping at least one AAA video game title.
- Preferred experience with Unreal Engine Common UI, Enhanced Input, the MVVM plugin, Slate, shaders, Unreal Engine materials, accessibility, and localization.
