Responsibilities
- Coach pilot project teams on the effective, secure, and responsible use of GitHub Copilot and AI tools.
- Promote Spec-Driven Development using a common reference framework and validated, traceable deliverables.
- Create and contribute to AI Delivery Playbooks covering AI usage throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Advise teams on prompts, skills, custom agents, agentic workflows, and MCP servers.
- Develop SDD recipes, templates, training materials, onboarding resources, and reusable AI assets.
- Reinforce software craftsmanship practices including clean code, testing, refactoring, code review, quality, security, and maintainability.
- Capture pilot feedback, industrialize effective practices, and share recommendations for scaling adoption.
Requirements
- Confirmed senior experience in software engineering, technical leadership, software architecture, or development coaching.
- Strong knowledge of Spec-Driven Development methodologies, including BMAD, and Agile practices.
- Strong command of the full software development lifecycle, from scoping and design through development, testing, production, and support.
- Solid knowledge of software craftsmanship and DevSecOps practices.
- Practical experience with GitHub Copilot or AI development assistants.
- Skills in prompt engineering, context engineering, agents, skills, and MCP servers.
- Ability to formalize methods, playbooks, guides, and training materials.
- Excellent communication, teaching, coaching, and simplification skills.
- Ability to collaborate with developers, technical leads, architects, managers, security and compliance teams, and business stakeholders.
