Responsibilities
- Write product or system development code.
- Participate in or lead design reviews and select among available technologies.
- Review other developers’ code and provide feedback on style, correctness, testability, and efficiency.
- Create shareable web components for Google enterprise products and support enterprise design systems.
- Contribute to documentation and educational content and adapt it based on product updates and user feedback.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing their impact on hardware, networks, services, and quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Two years of software development experience in one or more programming languages, or one year of experience with an advanced degree.
- Two years of full-stack development experience across back-end codebases and front-end technologies.
- Back-end experience with Java, Python, Golang, or C++ and front-end experience with JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, and CSS or equivalent.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in computer science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: two years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: experience developing accessible technologies, accessibility design, Apache Spark, Apache Hive, and enterprise data warehouses.
