Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and implement scalable and reliable cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure.
- Provision and configure Azure IaaS and PaaS services, including virtual machines, app services, databases, storage, networking, functions, data integration, security, messaging, eventing, and Databricks.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for cloud-native and hybrid applications.
- Define and automate infrastructure as code using Terraform, ARM templates, and PowerShell.
- Implement logging and monitoring with Log Analytics, Application Insights, and Azure Monitor.
- Design and implement deployment, configuration, patching, and system and application upgrade procedures.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and analyze production systems and performance results for improvement opportunities.
- Design for high availability and disaster recovery in cloud applications.
- Conduct architecture reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor team members.
- Collaborate with clients, vendors, internal teams, and external agencies while documenting implementations and supporting operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, computer science, software engineering, data science, or a related field.
- Knowledge of cloud architecture concepts including operating systems, multi-tenancy, virtualization, orchestration, and elastic scalability.
- Hands-on experience with Azure services and technologies, including IaaS and PaaS offerings.
- Expertise with infrastructure as code automation tools and languages such as Terraform, ARM, and PowerShell.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline setup.
- Experience implementing Azure logging and monitoring solutions.
- Understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, design patterns, and solution architecture.
- Understanding of Windows and Linux server architectures.
- Strong client-facing consultative skills and the ability to act as a customer advocate.
- Ability to provide technical leadership, collaborate cross-functionally, and mentor team members.
