Senior IOS Engineer

$180k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the iOS app end to end, including architecture, state, navigation, offline functionality, and App Store delivery
- Design and build polished user experiences with Swift and SwiftUI in partnership with design and product
- Make foundational technical decisions and re-architect the app when appropriate for scale
- Use AI coding tools to prototype and ship quickly while maintaining quality
- Partner with product and design leadership to take early app versions to production
- Establish mobile engineering standards, tooling, and practices as the team grows
Requirements
- Deep hands-on experience building and shipping consumer iOS applications with Swift and SwiftUI
- Strong product sensibility and attention to polished user experiences, interaction, motion, and detail
- Ability to own early architecture decisions and determine when to evolve or rebuild
- Experience shipping App Store applications
- Comfort using AI coding tools to prototype and ship quickly without compromising quality
- Self-starter comfortable with ambiguity and a fast-paced, ground-floor environment
- Bonus: experience as an early or founding engineer on a scaled consumer app
- Bonus: experience integrating AI or LLM-powered features, including streaming responses into the UI
- Bonus: experience with Claude Code or Codex
- Bonus: design systems, accessibility, Figma, native Android, Swift Concurrency, on-device performance tuning, Fastlane, Xcode Cloud, or GitHub Actions
