Base Salary
$127k - $182k/yr
Responsibilities
- Maintain Google Pay developer documentation, integration playbooks, and partner resources while managing and triaging technical issues.
- Advise merchants, payment service providers, and e-commerce platforms on Google Pay architecture and end-to-end implementation across web and mobile surfaces.
- Diagnose and resolve complex integration and transactional issues with external engineering teams to improve checkout reliability, performance, and security.
- Gather partner insights and translate integration issues into actionable requirements for internal Product and Engineering teams.
- Create and maintain reference implementations, code samples, testing guides, and integration tools to streamline developer onboarding.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Three years of experience working with client-side web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP.
- Three years of experience coding with one or more programming languages such as Java, C/C++, or Python.
- Experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal or external partners or customers.
- Experience using AI for workflows.
- Preferred: five years of technical troubleshooting experience.
- Preferred: three years of data analysis using SQL/MySQL.
- Preferred: three years of payments-industry experience.
- Preferred: experience managing external partners or customers, coordinating cross-functional teams, and demonstrating communication, people-management, and stakeholder-management skills.
Benefits
- US base pay is $127000-$182000, plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
