Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable, secure cloud infrastructure globally.
- Implement infrastructure as code and configuration as code.
- Optimize server deployment strategies for peak player loads.
- Maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for game services.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for game service development and deployment.
- Support development teams with local development environments.
- Design internal services and tools for engineering efficiency.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps for live service games or related products.
- Strong background in at least one cloud provider (AWS, GCP, AliCloud).
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or similar.
- Experience with container-based application development (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of observability solutions like Prometheus and OpenTelemetry.
- Proficiency in backend development languages (Python, Golang, C/C++).
- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Strong understanding of source control systems (Git, Perforce).
- Knowledge of network technologies (TCP/UDP, CDN, load balancers).
- Familiarity with database technologies (Redis, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Fluency in written and spoken English for technical communication.
