Responsibilities
- Design and ship full-stack features using Prisma models, SQL migrations, GraphQL SDL and resolvers, backend services, Jest tests, and Ant Design screens.
- Extend multi-tenant data access, tenant provisioning and cloning, licensing, and module enablement.
- Develop scheduling and work-queue capabilities including job allocation, worker claiming, stale-job recovery, concurrency, and idempotency.
- Improve frontend test coverage, query performance, observability, code quality, performance, and reliability.
- Write release documentation and maintain internal runbooks.
- Integrate backend services with AWS or GCP and contribute to CI/CD, build, and deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve development and production issues.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and DevOps teams in an Agile Scrum environment.
- Follow internal controls and established coding standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Three to four years of experience is listed for the role, while the desired-skills section requests five to six years building and operating production web applications.
- Production experience with TypeScript on Node.js and React, plus hands-on Node.js and Java experience building APIs or microservices.
- Experience designing and maintaining schema-first GraphQL APIs with authorization directives, pagination, and N+1 avoidance.
- Experience with schema design, migrations, indexes, views, query plans, Prisma or a comparable ORM, and raw SQL.
- Experience building React data-dense screens with component libraries and charting libraries.
- Experience with background-job systems, queues, schedulers, workers, retries, locking, race conditions, and concurrency testing.
- Daily Docker use and experience deploying and debugging AWS services including ECS or a comparable container platform, RDS, S3, and CI pipelines.
- Experience writing tests as part of development, including Jest and fixture-based service tests.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP, CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions, Git, Agile/Scrum, and Groovy scripting.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, written communication, independent decision-making, and collaborative working skills.
- Preferred experience includes RedwoodJS or CedarJS, GraphQL Yoga, Envelop plugins, GraphQL subscriptions, MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Azure Integration Services, static analysis or security scanning, OWASP, CWE, SOC 2, ISO 27001, Redis, nginx, supervisord, Bitbucket Pipelines, LLM API integration, Model Context Protocol servers, and customer-facing product documentation.
