Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of scalable backend systems using Golang and Python.
Take ownership of key deliverables and drive projects to successful completion.
Ensure system reliability by monitoring SLOs/SLAs and implementing observability tools.
Provide expert technical support and participate in on-call rotations.
Align teams around key projects and facilitate seamless execution.
Engage in asynchronous communication and participate in code reviews.
Share knowledge and participate in professional development activities.

8+ years of experience as a Backend Software Engineer with a focus on Go and/or Python.
Strong understanding of Golang and Python ecosystems, including REST frameworks.
Experience with streaming/messaging systems like Kafka or Kinesis.
Familiarity with AWS services and deployment practices.
Proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker.
Solid understanding of database systems and SQL proficiency.
Excellent system design and communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
