Base Salary
$70k - $130k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable backend applications and services using Python and TypeScript.
- Build and integrate AI-powered solutions, agentic workflows, and automation capabilities.
- Develop APIs, integrations, and data services using REST and GraphQL architectures.
- Deploy and support applications in AWS cloud environments using containerized deployments and CI/CD pipelines.
- Partner directly with clients and business stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical solutions, and deliver business value.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance applications while maintaining performance, reliability, and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prototype and scale technology solutions.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience delivering production-grade applications, backend services, APIs, and data solutions.
- Strong proficiency in Python and TypeScript.
- Experience building and deploying cloud-native applications on AWS.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, containerization technologies, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools and agentic AI frameworks.
- Experience working directly with clients and business stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred: experience building production-grade AI agents and workflow automation solutions.
- Preferred: experience with OpenAI, Claude, Amazon Kiro, Agent SDKs, or similar AI development platforms.
- Preferred: consulting, professional services, or other customer-facing engineering experience.
- Preferred: exposure to Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Preferred: experience delivering rapid prototypes and scaling them into enterprise-grade applications.
- Preferred: familiarity with modern software architecture and platform engineering practices.
