Responsibilities

Support build and deployment processes for applications across private and public cloud environments.
Develop and maintain automation for builds, deployments, testing, security, performance, and releases.
Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling, including Jenkins, GitHub, Harness, Docker, and Istio.
Build observability solutions covering logging, monitoring, metrics, and alerting.
Establish DevOps patterns, principles, and pipeline standards across feature teams.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and cross-functional agile teams to improve deployment quality, resilience, and release frequency.
Support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across engineering teams.

7 to 14 years of experience.
Software engineering or database engineering background with strong DevOps and pipeline experience, preferably Java-based.
Experience with modern engineering practices, CI/CD tools, and DevOps processes.
Experience with Jenkins, Sonar, Nexus, Git, Docker, JUnit, Cucumber, Selenium, and Postman.
Experience with build and deployment automation for API-based, event-driven, and batch workloads across private and public clouds.
Exposure to cloud technology, ideally GCP.
Experience with Kubernetes, Istio, and observability practices.
Preferred knowledge of network protocols, security, PKI, WAS, Liberty, Linux, RDBMS, Kafka, Pub/Sub, buckets, file storage, and NoSQL.
Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and promote a strong DevOps culture.
