Staff Software Engineer I - Devops architecture,IaC, Kubernetes,Python
Blue YonderResponsibilities
- Collaborate with executive leadership, Principal Architects, and Product Engineering leads to align infrastructure capabilities with business goals.
- Design and implement complex software systems based on business requirements and architectural direction.
- Implement the long-term architecture roadmap for infrastructure, cloud environments, and deployment platforms.
- Lead initiatives for resilient CI/CD ecosystems, automated governance, and scalable self-service developer platforms.
- Evaluate and standardize tools for deployment, observability, infrastructure-as-code, and operational reliability.
- Mentor and guide Senior and Mid-level engineers.
- Partner with Application Engineers, Security, and Cloud Operations to improve system resilience and customer experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10–12 years of progressive experience in DevOps, software engineering, or systems architecture.
- Proven experience architecting enterprise platforms at scale.
- Advanced expertise in infrastructure-as-code and configuration management using modern automation frameworks.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go for custom tooling and platform development.
- Deep expertise in enterprise Kubernetes architecture, Docker, and multi-region microservice deployments.
- Deep expertise across AWS, Azure, and GCP, including cost optimization, enterprise security, and fault tolerance.
- Expertise with Git, complex CI/CD pipeline orchestration, and zero-downtime deployment strategies.
- Outstanding technical leadership, system design, and cross-functional influence capabilities.
