SS&C TechnologiesResponsibilities
- Manage and support Chorus environments across Windows Servers and Linux systems.
- Perform system administration, log analysis, service management, scheduled-task administration, permissions management, and resource monitoring.
- Validate environment readiness through dependency checks, configuration alignment, deployment validation, and data-refresh coordination.
- Diagnose DNS, routing, port connectivity, firewall, load-balancer, certificate, authentication, and trust-chain issues.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and support Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
- Develop or maintain automation using Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar scripting languages.
- Support Git and GitHub workflows and tooling including SonarQube, Nexus IQ/Lifecycle, and ServiceNow.
- Support Chorus application and web servers including IIS, JBoss, and Apache.
- Analyze logs and trace failures across environments, APIs, service endpoints, authentication flows, and service-to-service integrations.
- Support SFTP, SSH, key-based authentication, monitoring, alerting, bug-fix testing, and production deployments.
- Use Elastic and Dynatrace to investigate performance and integration issues.
- Participate in release, change, incident-management, client-workshop, and cross-functional delivery activities.
- Maintain environment diagrams, runbooks, change-impact assessments, and operational documentation.
- Lead software solution implementation end to end and contribute to environment reliability and process-improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Mid-level systems administration experience across Windows Server and Linux.
- Experience with CI/CD, Jenkins, automated deployment processes, and Workflow or Chorus application environments.
- Scripting proficiency in Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
- Programming and database competency in C#, Python, MS SQL, and Oracle SQL.
- Knowledge or experience in Chorus Workflow development, application workflows, Model Analysis, Administration workspace, and Chorus Reporting analytics.
- Understanding of operating-system internals, logs, service management, scheduled tasks or cron, permissions, access models, and resource monitoring.
- Networking experience involving DNS, routing, firewall rules, load balancers, certificates, IIS, JBoss, Apache, and API-based integrations.
- Experience supporting SFTP, SSH, secure authentication methods, Elastic, Dynatrace, and Git.
- Knowledge of enterprise release and change-management processes, disaster recovery, production support, dependency mapping, secrets handling, environment variables, and configuration-file management is desirable.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, prioritization, documentation, accountability, and customer-focus skills.
