Base Salary
$94k - $142k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and integrate generative AI applications using pre-trained and hosted foundation models through managed APIs and open-model endpoints.
- Design context-engineering and prompt-engineering workflows using retrieved knowledge, tools, memory, metadata, and token-efficient prompts.
- Develop and maintain RAG systems with chunking, embeddings, hybrid search, vector databases, and re-ranking.
- Assist with knowledge graphs, Graph RAG pipelines, and multi-hop retrieval.
- Build agentic workflows with tool calling, structured planning, memory, and agent-to-agent collaboration.
- Integrate agents with external tools and data sources through MCP and A2A protocols.
- Deploy, monitor, and maintain generative AI and agentic applications in production.
- Perform data preprocessing, document ingestion, and API development.
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers and participate in code reviews, testing, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of professional experience in software or AI development, including exposure to generative AI and agentic AI.
- Proficiency in Python for generative AI development, data preprocessing, and scripting.
- Understanding of foundation models, LLMs, tokenization, embeddings, and context windows.
- Hands-on experience with prompt engineering, context engineering, and RAG systems.
- Familiarity with knowledge graphs, Graph RAG, vector databases, hybrid search, and re-ranking.
- Exposure to agent development using Google ADK, LangGraph, CrewAI, or the OpenAI Agents SDK.
- Working knowledge of tool/function calling, MCP, agent session and state management, memory, guardrails, and execution controls; awareness of A2A.
- Experience consuming OpenAI, Gemini, or Claude APIs and using LangChain or LlamaIndex.
- Understanding of Docker, Git, application deployment, containerization, AI compliance, data privacy, guardrails, and responsible AI.
- Strong teamwork, communication, analytical, learning, and continuous-improvement skills.
- Exposure to AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud-based AI/ML environments is preferred.

- Primary location salary range is $94,300.00–$141,500.00.
