Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements, review technical designs, and develop, enhance, test, and deploy business applications on the .NET platform.
- Define test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria; support system integration testing and user acceptance testing.
- Provide L2/L3 production support, troubleshoot incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and support releases, patches, and enhancements.
- Design and support integrations using REST APIs, web services, and messaging systems.
- Use SQL Server for data analysis, reporting, performance tuning, and troubleshooting while maintaining data consistency and integrity.
- Coordinate defect tracking and resolution, participate in code reviews, and maintain documentation, version control, security, audit, and compliance standards.
Requirements
- Strong experience with .NET, C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Java, VB, and web services.
- Hands-on experience with IIS, Windows Services, application configuration, logging and monitoring tools, and production environments.
- Strong SQL skills with SQL Server, including querying, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with incident management, ITIL concepts, ServiceNow or another ticketing system process, and Azure or AWS cloud environments.
- Experience supporting high-volume, business-critical applications such as EDI systems.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least three years of experience in .NET or web application development or support.
- Strong business analysis, problem-solving, communication, presentation, documentation, and structured-thinking skills.
- Knowledge of manufacturing back-office, shop-floor, or trading-company operations is valued; willingness to work on-call or non-standard Asia-time-zone hours and travel occasionally is required.
