Base Salary
$124k - $255k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement full-stack, user-facing features for Pinterest’s inspiration and discovery experiences.
- Lead and contribute throughout the product lifecycle, from brainstorming and rapid prototyping through A/B testing, scalable implementation, and release.
- Collaborate with design, product, and backend teams to launch end-to-end solutions.
- Suggest, prototype, and iterate on product ideas using a user-centered perspective.
- Use automated testing and engineering best practices to deliver reliable, high-quality code.
- Create and drive new initiatives from inception through technical design, implementation, and release.
- Use AI for prototyping, outlining, information synthesis, and repetitive tasks with careful critical evaluation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of industry full-stack development experience building consumer- or business-facing products.
- Proficiency in one or more common backend and frontend technology stacks, including examples such as JavaScript, React, APIs, storage, caching, and data processing.
- Experience writing reliable and maintainable code that may be used by many other engineers.
- Ability to stay current with new technologies and assess what should be incorporated.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI to improve the speed and quality of relevant day-to-day work.
- Strong ability to critically evaluate and verify AI-assisted work through testing, source-checking, data validation, or peer review.
- High integrity, ownership, protection of sensitive data, and accountability for final decisions and deliverables.
