Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and implementation of core systems for fraud prevention.
- Own the end-to-end delivery of large cross-functional projects.
- Design and operate highly available, low-latency backend systems.
- Collaborate with Data Science and ML teams to productionize models.
- Establish best practices and drive engineering quality.
- Mentor and grow engineers through documentation and meetings.
- Influence multiple stakeholders and resolve cross-team issues.
Requirements
- 7-10+ years of software development experience with a focus on backend.
- Experience as a technical lead making architectural decisions.
- Product-minded with experience in building and shipping new products.
- Comfortable driving discussions in ambiguous areas with empathy.
- Proactive in mentoring and sharing knowledge with coworkers.
- Experience in fintech, fraud systems, or the risk domain is a plus.
