Base Salary

$174k - $252k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Write and test product or system development code.
  • Design and develop infrastructure, distributed systems, database internals, information retrieval, query planning, and execution capabilities.
  • Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to select technologies.
  • Review other developers’ code and provide feedback on style, correctness, testability, and efficiency.
  • Maintain documentation and educational content based on product updates and user feedback.
  • Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing impacts on hardware, networks, services, and quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 5 years of software development experience using C++ or Go.
  • At least 3 years of experience designing and developing infrastructure or distributed systems.
  • At least 1 year of experience using AI tools or frameworks to accelerate development and engineering productivity.
  • Experience designing and developing relational databases, database internals, information retrieval, query planning, and query execution.
  • Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Preferred: 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
  • Preferred: experience designing or building agentic-AI systems and applications, with knowledge of core systems and application architecture.
