Base Salary
$168k - $245k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead quality strategy for large-scale generative AI products and platforms.
- Design scalable testing and automation approaches for AI pipelines, APIs, user interfaces, federated microservices, and multi-tenant SaaS architectures.
- Establish release-readiness practices using quality gates, test traceability, representative environments, and data-driven Go/No-Go criteria.
- Analyze model degradation, system failures, and test instability to drive root-cause analysis and improve platform reliability.
- Define release-quality criteria and diagnose failures using test results, logs, metrics, and engineering data.
- Partner with cross-functional engineering and customer teams and mentor QA and software engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field plus 6 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree in computer science or engineering plus 4 years of experience, or a PhD plus 2 years of practical experience.
- Experience designing and implementing test strategies, automation frameworks, and test infrastructure for distributed software systems, cloud platforms, or SaaS products.
- Python development experience and experience with automated testing frameworks such as Pytest, Playwright, or Selenium.
- Experience validating frontend and backend systems, REST and/or GraphQL APIs, service integrations, CI/CD pipelines, and distributed microservice architectures.
- Experience defining release-quality criteria and diagnosing system failures using test results, logs, metrics, and other engineering data.
- Preferred experience testing generative AI, AI/ML platforms, AI agents, LLM-powered applications, or other AI products, including model-quality and degradation evaluation.
- Preferred experience with AI-agent-assisted QA workflows using Cursor, Claude, Codex CLI, or equivalent tools, including agent-based or MCP-based test orchestration.
- Preferred experience testing multi-tenant cloud platforms and AI environments involving datasets, model versions, feature flags, Kubernetes, and ArgoCD.
- Preferred experience building scalable test frameworks across multiple engineering teams and mentoring QA or software engineers.
- Knowledge of security, privacy, data governance, or compliance requirements for enterprise SaaS and AI products.

- Salary range of $167,700.00 to $245,200.00, excluding incentive compensation, equity, and benefits.
