Responsibilities
- Lead and govern the architecture of the OCAS platform.
- Own data and solution architecture across data ingestion, transformation, anonymization, integrations, and output delivery.
- Translate business requirements into scalable solutions while balancing long-term architecture goals with project delivery needs.
- Drive architecture decisions and maintain architecture documentation, ADRs, governance, and standards.
- Embed privacy, data protection, and privacy-by-design requirements into solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering, business, and testing teams to deliver scalable and reusable solutions.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of experience is required.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Solution Architecture is required.
- Experience with data anonymization, privacy-by-design, and clinical trial data concepts.
- Knowledge of Python, R, Apache Airflow, Kafka, and REST/gRPC integrations.
- Experience with CSV, Parquet, SAS, and RDS data formats.
- Experience with AWS, including EKS, S3, IAM, and DocumentDB.
- Strong solution and data architecture, ADR, governance, and documentation skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Data Engineering, Java Full Stack Development, and DevOps Architecture are preferred.
