Responsibilities
- Lead and govern OCAS platform, solution, and data architecture.
- Design architecture for data ingestion, transformation, anonymization, integrations, and output delivery.
- Translate business requirements into scalable solutions while balancing long-term architecture goals with project delivery needs.
- Drive architecture decisions and maintain ADRs, governance materials, and technical documentation.
- Embed privacy and data protection requirements into platform solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering, business, and testing teams to deliver scalable and reusable solutions.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of professional experience.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Required expertise in solution architecture.
- Preferred experience in data engineering, DevOps architecture, and Java full-stack development.
- Knowledge of data anonymization, privacy-by-design, and clinical trial data concepts.
- Experience with Python, R, Apache Airflow, Kafka, REST/gRPC integrations, and data formats including CSV, Parquet, SAS, and RDS.
- Experience with AWS services including EKS, S3, IAM, and DocumentDB.
- Knowledge of solution and data architecture, ADRs, governance, and documentation.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
