Responsibilities
- Design and develop workflow solutions on IBM BAW for complex business processes.
- Write and optimize Oracle SQL queries, stored logic, schemas, indexes, and database structures.
- Develop JavaScript front-end components and data-driven user interfaces.
- Translate functional requirements into scalable technical designs with business analysts and architects.
- Integrate IBM BAW workflows with backend systems and services.
- Write modular, reusable code and participate in version control, peer review, testing, debugging, and production support.
- Perform root cause analysis, resolve production issues, and improve platform reliability.
- Document technical designs, configurations, and deployment procedures.
- Collaborate with database administrators and cross-functional teams on performance, releases, and deployments.
- Apply secure coding and data protection practices while contributing to process improvements, estimation, and sprint planning.
- Work with quality assurance teams to refine scenarios, test data, and acceptance validation.
Requirements
- Proven enterprise experience with Oracle SQL RDBMS, including schema design, complex queries, and transactional applications.
- Hands-on experience with IBM BAW workflow modeling, human tasks, and integration services.
- Practical JavaScript experience building or enhancing user interfaces connected to backend services.
- Experience collaborating across hybrid onsite and remote teams.
- Asset and wealth management experience is preferred when available.
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle from requirements analysis through production support.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, written communication, verbal communication, and knowledge-transfer skills.
- IBM Certified Developer – Business Automation Workflow certification is required; Oracle Database SQL certification is preferred.
