Responsibilities
- Build and evolve benchmarking, profiling, and load-testing tooling.
- Define benchmark suites and reference workloads reflecting real customer behavior.
- Establish performance baselines and regression gates across products.
- Build mechanisms to turn benchmark results into actionable insights.
- Partner with database teams to identify bottlenecks and implement performance improvements.
- Enable publication of credible performance numbers for customers.
Requirements
- Deep experience in performance engineering, benchmarking, and profiling of complex distributed systems.
- Strong systems intuition in databases, storage, networking, and cloud infrastructure.
- Comfortable working across product, infrastructure, and database teams.
- Pragmatic, tooling-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
