Responsibilities
- Build, test, and operate services, APIs, connectors, and automation for customer data exchange, workspace setup, and pipeline orchestration.
- Deliver defined components independently from technical approach through release, monitoring, and support.
- Write automated tests and documentation, and replace manual operational steps with code.
- Investigate production issues, fix defects, support root cause analysis, and participate in production support.
- Break down and estimate work, provide design and feasibility input, assess risk, and participate in code reviews.
Requirements
- Intermediate skills in Python or another language such as Java, Scala, or C#/.NET, plus working SQL.
- Knowledge of source control, automated testing, secure coding, code review, and CI/CD.
- Experience building software on a public cloud, particularly AWS and Databricks.
- Interest in data platforms and how data moves between systems, with clear communication and practical judgment when using AI tools.
- Desirable experience with Spark, Snowflake, REST APIs, cloud storage integrations, C#/.NET, React-based tooling, external-partner data exchange through cloud storage or SFTP, infrastructure as code, or deployment automation.
