Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React.
- Develop scalable backend services, REST APIs, gRPC services, microservices, event-driven components, and responsive frontend interfaces.
- Design relational database models and optimized SQL queries.
- Own software initiatives from requirements and technical design through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Build automated unit, integration, API, contract, and end-to-end tests using a test-driven approach.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Improve engineering productivity through automation, CI/CD, quality gates, AI-assisted workflows, and developer tooling.
- Evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, security, maintainability, performance, and compliance.
- Conduct code reviews, contribute to engineering standards, mentor junior and mid-level engineers, and collaborate with distributed teams.
Requirements
- Requires 3–5 years of career experience as a developer in full-stack development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 17/21+, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, REST API design, microservices, gRPC, and Protocol Buffers.
- Experience with JPA/Hibernate, Spring Data, relational databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL, SQL, Apache Kafka or equivalent messaging technologies.
- Strong hands-on experience with React, JavaScript and/or TypeScript, responsive component-based UI development, frontend state management, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with Redux, Context API or equivalent, frontend API integration, browser fundamentals, accessibility, security, and performance optimization.
- Strong practical experience with TDD, unit and integration testing, API and contract testing, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience with JUnit 5, Mockito, Spring Boot Test, Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright, or equivalent frameworks.
- Experience using AI coding assistants and productivity tools such as GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT for code generation, testing, debugging, documentation, and analysis.
- Ability to validate AI-generated output and follow responsible AI practices involving privacy, security, intellectual property, confidentiality, and organizational policies.
- Knowledge of object-oriented design, SOLID principles, design patterns, concurrency, caching, performance optimization, and software architecture.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, conduct code reviews, mentor engineers, and contribute to technical standards.
