Responsibilities
- Design and discuss solutions for user stories and development tasks.
- Develop, unit-test, integrate, deploy, maintain, and improve software across backend and browser layers.
- Perform peer code reviews and take responsibility for solution quality.
- Participate in squad activities, Agile ceremonies, and Dev chapter lead activities.
- Apply continuous integration practices including source control, build automation, unit testing, and dependency management.
- Collaborate with squad members to achieve sprint objectives and support the Product Owner, Analyst, and Scrum Master.
- Manage individual task priorities, deliverables, progress updates, and Agile team management tools.
- Contribute to planning, continuous improvement, and responsible use of AI tools to improve productivity and solve business problems.
Requirements
- Experience with Agile techniques including user stories, acceptance test-driven development, behavior-driven development, continuous integration, continuous testing, pair working, automated testing, and Agile games.
- Experience with Spring, ideally Spring Boot, and preferably Camel.
- Experience with AngularJS and Angular 2 or later.
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Git, TeamCity, Maven, and Sonar.
- Understanding of REST architectural style, microservices concepts and technologies, software design patterns, and UML design.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum and distributed or multi-location teams.
- Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence and professional knowledge of English.
- Good communication, proactive teamwork, and comfort working in multidisciplinary, self-organized teams.
- Differentiating experience includes Angular 5, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud Netflix Zuul, OpenID Connect, Oracle SQL, XPath, XQuery, SOAP, REST, HTML, HTTP, CSS, JavaScript, HTML5, XML, XSD, XSLT, WebLogic, Tomcat, Oracle databases, Eclipse, Ant, and Backbase CXP.
- Ability to use AI tools productively while applying critical judgment for responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
