Responsibilities
- Design, develop, improve, and deliver high-quality software using appropriate programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
- Build scalable, maintainable, optimized, and secure software solutions.
- Develop Java and Spring-based server-side applications and REST/SOAP APIs.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and stakeholders to define requirements and solution strategies.
- Contribute to infrastructure, deployment pipelines, cloud environments, containerization, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, troubleshooting, and secure coding practices.
- Use Unix scripts and operational tools to check logs and processes.
- Participate in technology communities and promote code quality, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
- Manage risk, follow relevant policies and controls, and communicate technical information to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience with Core Java, multithreading, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, JPA, and Hibernate.
- Working knowledge of REST and SOAP API development, HTTP, web services, server-side development, and deployment.
- Strong SQL knowledge with Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Hands-on Unix experience for simple scripts and checking logs or processes.
- Basic deployment knowledge with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Basic experience with ReactJS, Angular, and TypeScript.
- Knowledge of unit and integration testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, Jest, and React Testing Library.
- Experience with GitLab, VS Code, IntelliJ, Eclipse, and JIRA.
- Experience working in cloud environments, preferably AWS, with familiarity in containerization, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies, preferably Scrum or Kanban.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Python development experience is highly valued.
- Knowledge of large language models and agentic AI patterns, including tool use, RAG, prompt engineering, memory management, and guardrails, is desirable.
- Experience with AWS Bedrock, Claude Code, API integrations, data pipelines, event-driven architecture, or systems in trading, banking, or financial organizations is desirable.
