Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, install, and support application systems using programming and scripting tools.
- Analyze applications and code to identify system enhancements, vulnerabilities, and security issues.
- Conduct application testing and debugging.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups and recommend programming solutions.
- Identify problems, evaluate information, and implement solutions with limited direct supervision.
- Advise or coach new or lower-level analysts and serve as a subject-matter expert for stakeholders.
- Manage risks, comply with applicable policies and regulations, and escalate control issues transparently.
Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant experience in the financial services industry.
- Intermediate-level experience in applications development.
- Hands-on experience in microservice development using Spring Boot.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or changing requirements.
- Basic understanding of DevOps processes is preferred.
