Responsibilities
- Produce API and interface documentation and specifications.
- Plan, develop, organize, build, and test service and API integration services.
- Participate in peer reviews of team code and write API test cases.
- Analyze requirements, design API solutions, model resources, and implement API security standards.
- Work with business analysts and technical leads to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Contribute to support activities, risk escalation, and management of multiple priorities.
- Coach developers and exchange technical solutions within the developer chapter.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent.
- At least 4+ years of hands-on API development experience.
- At least 3+ years of software engineering experience with Java EE, Web Services, REST, JPA, Java 8 or above, Spring, Spring Boot, SOA, databases, and design patterns.
- Strong Java technical expertise and hands-on experience with API-related requirements analysis, design, resource-based API modeling, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with API security standards and implementation, CI/CD tools, and DevOps practices.
- Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, communication, analytical, attention-to-detail, and knowledge-sharing skills.
- Banking or private-banking knowledge, conference or user-group speaking, open-source contributions, and exposure to analytics or mobile technologies are advantageous.
