Responsibilities
- Build and operate large-scale enterprise and customer technology systems for Apple’s retail and marketing experiences.
- Scale, tune, troubleshoot, and manage Kubernetes environments.
- Design and manage AWS infrastructure using services including EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, IAM, and VPC networking.
- Develop Python automation, tooling, and infrastructure pipelines.
- Implement CI/CD workflows and tools.
- Administer and optimize Linux systems.
- Create infrastructure as code using Terraform and Ansible.
- Design and implement observability frameworks using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, and Datadog.
- Support multi-cloud, hybrid-cloud, and serverless deployments.
- Apply container security and supply-chain security best practices.
- Develop AI-driven infrastructure automation such as predictive scaling, anomaly detection, and self-healing systems.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and collaborate across teams.
Requirements
- 9–13 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Systems Engineering roles.
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes, including scaling, performance tuning, and troubleshooting at scale.
- Proven experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, IAM, and VPC networking.
- Strong Python programming and scripting experience for automation, tooling, and infrastructure pipelines.
- Expertise with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or equivalent CI/CD tools.
- In-depth Linux systems administration knowledge, including performance optimization.
- Experience with Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure as code.
- Strong networking knowledge, including DNS, TCP/IP, load balancing, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing observability frameworks.
- Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud deployments and exposure to serverless architectures.
- Familiarity with container security and supply-chain security best practices.
- Experience with AI-driven automation for infrastructure.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, leadership, mentoring, and guidance skills.
