Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, and Dynatrace.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for reliable application deployments.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration to reduce manual intervention and human error.
- Monitor the health, performance, reliability, and availability of production systems and applications.
- Design and maintain automated monitoring, observability, alerting, SLO, SLI, and error-budget solutions.
- Respond to production incidents, diagnose root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Lead root cause analysis and post-mortem investigations and create incident-response playbooks and documentation.
- Collaborate with development teams on post-deployment rollouts, production issues, and operationally focused software design.
- Design, deploy, and scale highly available, resilient, and fault-tolerant applications and infrastructure.
- Act as a bridge between development, operations, and business teams.
- Lead or contribute to initiatives that improve system performance, reliability, automation, and operational efficiency.
- Stay current with site reliability engineering, DevOps, cloud-computing technologies, tools, and trends.
- Communicate technical concepts, collaborate cross-functionally, and contribute to a positive team culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related technical field.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency with one or more of Python, Go, Ruby, Shell scripting, or JavaScript with Node.js.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or GCP and container orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk, or similar tools.
- Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, and Dynatrace for Infrastructure as Code and automation.
- Expertise with Git, Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab CI, or similar CI/CD platforms.
- Proficiency with SDLC tools such as Azure DevOps and JIRA.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP/S, along with security practices involving firewalls, IAM, and VPNs.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to collaborate with software developers, SREs, operations teams, business stakeholders, and non-technical audiences in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive attitude toward learning new technologies and industry trends.
