Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and operate highly available customer-facing production workloads in AWS.
- Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes using Harness and/or Jenkins.
- Support Linux-based production environments and containerized deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS container services.
- Implement logging, monitoring, observability, and troubleshooting for distributed production systems using Splunk.
- Automate operational tasks with Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
- Plan, implement, and test disaster recovery capabilities.
- Analyze and optimize cloud infrastructure costs.
- Address application and infrastructure security issues, including vulnerability remediation and security tooling.
- Support Java/Spring Boot and data-intensive applications using SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
- Document infrastructure designs, operational procedures, and technical decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of industry experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related roles.
- Strong hands-on experience designing, deploying, and operating production workloads in AWS.
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD pipelines, Linux production environments, container technologies, and distributed-system observability.
- Experience scripting and automating operational tasks with Python, Bash, or similar languages.
- Understanding of networking, security, access management, and cloud infrastructure fundamentals.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
- Strong English fluency and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
