Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Node.js, Spring Boot, Java, and JavaScript/TypeScript applications.
- Build, consume, document, and support RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Develop responsive, accessible, and user-friendly front-end components.
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases and maintain reliable data access and data integrity.
- Design for scalability, availability, maintainability, security, and performance.
- Troubleshoot application, integration, database, and production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Optimize application performance through debugging, monitoring, tuning, and measurable improvements.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, deployment, release processes, and production validation.
- Use Git, code reviews, documentation, and applicable DevOps practices to support software delivery.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams through Agile planning, refinement, sprint execution, reviews, and retrospectives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience with Node.js, Spring Boot, Java, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience developing enterprise-grade applications, RESTful APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and service-based applications.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, data modeling, querying, transactions, integration, and data integrity.
- Experience with performance tuning, debugging, monitoring, optimization, CI/CD, Git, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Ability to develop scalable backend services and responsive modern web components.
- Knowledge of secure API design, input validation, access control, secure configuration, and protection of application data and credentials.
- Preferred exposure to AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, automation tools, cloud deployment, and application modernization.
- Banking or financial-services experience and relevant certifications in Java, Node.js, cloud technologies, Kubernetes, DevOps, or Agile delivery are preferred.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred; equivalent relevant education and professional experience may be considered.
