Responsibilities
- Design and implement multi-agent architectures for autonomous fraud detection and analysis.
- Develop agent coordination, tool-integrated reasoning, safety, and alignment systems using frameworks such as LangChain and AutoGen.
- Implement advanced reasoning systems, test-time compute optimization, chain-of-thought mechanisms, and verification methods.
- Build multimodal models for video, image, text, and behavioral data analysis.
- Develop RAG architectures, vector databases, hybrid search, advanced chunking, and context-aware retrieval systems.
- Research cross-modal learning, novel algorithms, reinforcement learning, neural architecture search, and scalable reasoning approaches.
- Conduct large-scale experimentation, ablation studies, and distributed training with GPU optimization.
- Translate AI research innovations into production ML systems for fraud detection and online trust and safety.
Requirements
- PhD in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field, or an exceptional research track record.
- Peer-reviewed publications demonstrating expertise in large language models, transformer architectures, agentic or multi-agent systems, multimodal learning or computer vision, and distributed systems or scalable ML.
- Expert proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks, with PyTorch preferred and TensorFlow experience expected.
- Advanced experience with LangChain, Hugging Face Transformers, Ray, agent development and orchestration, RAG systems, vector databases, distributed training frameworks, and GPU optimization.
- Strong understanding of transformer architectures, attention mechanisms, reinforcement learning, reward modeling, neural architecture search, AutoML, MLOps, and production ML systems.
- Track record of novel algorithm development, innovation, large-scale experimentation, and ablation studies.
- Proficiency with Weights & Biases, MLflow, and TensorBoard.
- Strong theoretical foundation in optimization, statistics, and linear algebra.
- Preferred qualifications include fraud detection, cybersecurity, trust and safety, open-source AI, industry research lab, production research translation, mixture-of-experts, Constitutional AI, alignment, efficient inference, and real-time streaming ML experience.
