Base Salary
$262k - $364k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize highly complex ML pipelines and distributed systems for resource efficiency.
- Drive AI/ML solutions from conceptual prototypes through global production deployment.
- Set standards for code quality, testing, deployment, architectural reviews, and system performance.
- Mentor senior and mid-level engineers and represent the team in high-level technical discussions.
- Partner with researchers to operationalize models and align technical roadmaps with product stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 7 years of experience leading technical project strategy, ML design, and working with ML infrastructure such as model deployment, model evaluation, data processing, debugging, and fine-tuning.
- 5 years of experience with speech/audio, reinforcement learning, ML infrastructure, or another ML specialization.
- 5 years of experience with design and architecture and testing or launching software products.
- Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Preferred experience includes data structures and algorithms, technical leadership, complex matrixed organizations, cross-functional projects, and technical innovation in system, algorithm, or ML efficiency.
