Base Salary
$187k - $322k/yr
Responsibilities
- Identify and quantify bottlenecks and defects in search and recommendation systems
- Propose and implement solutions using machine learning, deep learning, and large language models
- Conduct A/B tests for search and discovery improvements
- Develop personalization ranking, personalized retrieval, recommendation, and user-understanding systems
- Provide technical thought leadership and build organizational consensus
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Search, Information Retrieval, recommendation systems, machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, or related fields
- Proficiency in Java, C++, or Python
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience handling large data volumes in a distributed environment
- PhD in Computer Science or a related engineering major is preferred
- Experience in ecommerce, social networking, or search companies is preferred
