Base Salary
$163k - $229k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver agentic analytics experiences, including natural-language dashboard authoring, agent-accessible surfaces, and AI-generated insights with human review.
- Build semantic, machine-readable representations of metrics and product surfaces, along with evaluation and guardrail systems for trustworthy AI output.
- Lead projects from scope and requirements through architecture, implementation, production launch, and ongoing operation.
- Build across the stack using React, Node.js, Python or Java, APIs, and data-integration layers.
- Develop configuration-driven and schema-driven dashboard and metric systems that reduce bespoke coding.
- Optimize rendering, data fetching, caching, request batching, and progressive or streaming rendering for high-cardinality dashboards and large concurrent audiences.
- Maintain code quality through testing, code review, observability, accessible UI, and resilient engineering practices.
- Mentor engineers at all levels, including senior engineers, and drive team standards, technical direction, and cross-team consensus.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience building highly scalable, performant full-stack web applications serving millions of users and requests.
- Regular experience using AI coding agents and agent-driven software development workflows.
- Production track record delivering agentic analytics or data products built on LLMs or agents.
- Expert command of React, TypeScript, and JavaScript, with strong Node.js experience across front-end and back-end systems.
- Experience architecting complex technical changes, defining API specifications, owning projects end to end, and driving problems to resolution.
- Strong performance-engineering fundamentals for data-heavy or high-traffic systems.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and grow engineers, including senior engineers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software or Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field, and/or equivalent work experience.
- Working proficiency in Python and/or Java for back-end services, data tooling, or integrations is preferred.
- Preferred experience includes production React/Node.js applications on AWS, data visualization at scale, Looker/LookML, Snowflake, Databricks, configuration-driven UI systems, WCAG, and broad web standards knowledge.
