Responsibilities
- Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, application development, and model development.
- Establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs to meet business or user needs.
- Monitor and control application development through analysis, design, construction, testing, implementation, and operational support.
- Analyze complex application and business-process problems and evaluate systems, processes, and industry standards.
- Recommend and develop security measures through post-implementation analysis of business usage.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups; recommend programming solutions and assist with system installation and exposure.
- Define and follow operating standards and procedures and help ensure required processes are completed.
- Advise or coach new and lower-level analysts while serving as a subject-matter expert to stakeholders and team members.
- Assess and manage technology, compliance, conduct, and control risks.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant experience in systems analysis and software application programming.
- Bachelor's or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Primary experience with Java, J2EE, Spring or Spring Boot, Hibernate, Angular or a similar framework, Oracle, JUnit, and SQL.
- Secondary experience with UNIX, Jenkins, Sonar, Swift, and Autosys.
- Exposure to Kafka or similar messaging mechanisms and caching solutions.
- Experience hosting applications on cloud platforms, with Docker and Kubernetes knowledge preferred.
- Python experience with exposure to AI/ML is preferred.
- Business acumen and financial business knowledge, with asset-servicing domain experience advantageous.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects, plus working knowledge of consulting and project-management techniques.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in requirements.
