Base Salary
$122k - $155k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain external and internal websites.
- Develop responsive front-end interfaces and UI interactions in collaboration with UX designers.
- Develop website frameworks, content, themes, and custom work-group applications.
- Manage Linux servers running RHEL.
- Configure and maintain Apache, NGINX, MariaDB, SMTP, DNS, SSH, and other open-source tools.
- Design, deploy, or manage solutions in Amazon Web Services.
- Partner with clients, graphic designers, and editors to define and deliver web projects.
- Provide customer consultation and independently resolve technical, compatibility, support, and system issues.
- Document technical solutions, system configurations, and development processes.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy Q-level security clearance and U.S. citizenship.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Fundamental knowledge of server architecture and troubleshooting, Linux or Apache.
- Knowledge of MySQL, HTML, CSS, Python, React, Angular, or JavaScript.
- Experience with technologies and tools such as Confluence, Docker, Git, or Jira.
- Experience designing, deploying, or managing solutions in AWS.
- Experience building sites and developing themes.
- Knowledge of web architecture and design practices including performance, accessibility, UI/UX design, prototyping, scalability, compliance, and usability.
- Ability to contribute to projects and communicate effectively with diverse teams.
- Preferred: knowledge of PHP and experience with MariaDB, MongoDB, Drupal, WordPress, and Liferay.
